Import content into Knowen

You can bring your HTML, LATEX, docx and MediaWiki documents to Knowen with the help of Pandoc, a console-based markup language converter. After installation, you can use commands of the form pandoc -t markdown_github+tex_math_dollars -o output_filename.md input_filename, where output_filename.md is the resulting file, and input_filename is the file you want to convert.

Unfortunately, specific conversion settings strongly depend on the source file format and its contents. If you have problems with conversion, describe them at Feedback node or e-mail us! If, on the other hand, you have some valuable tips to share, please don't hesitate to edit this page!
