Workflow

There are two main usage modalities:

• Reader – browses Knowen for educational purposes
• Author – modifies (edits) or creates new content

Reader can browse the tree and evaluate contributions. Author can create new nodes, change the existing ones, and reorganize the tree structure (change internode connections). Each contribution of Author has associated Summary of Change, that shows in the History tab. These changes can be evaluated and commented upon by other Authors and Readers. This provides an integrated discussion forum, and forms the basis for the Author reputation ranking.
