Basic differences between old and new MRAMs
basic commercial advantages ... materials dependent
- pros
faster switching than SRAM, but slower than charge-based DRAM?
more energy-efficient than DRAM?
"collective switch" of stt-mram has very different behaviour than a single-electron-based physics of non-magnetic Tunneling Junctions of DRAM/SRAM - what is better and what is worse?
Write power is low according to what work/references (according to Table on page 7 here)?.... errors on writing are widely discussed, pls find a reference too (MT)
- cons
still more expensive than DRAM... so far?
- trade- offs
