Ivar Martin
About me
Ivar is a theoretical condensed matter physicist, with interests in the fields of strongly correlated phenomena, topological states of matter, and the foundations of quantum mechanics (Google Scholar profile). Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, he obtained B.Sc. from Moscow State University and Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both in Physics. After PhD, he moved to Los Alamos National Lab first as a postdoc, and stayed on as a Staff Scientist. In 2013 he moved to Argonne National Lab. Started knowen.org project in 2012 out of frustration over the lack of good tools for research collaboration and communication.
